2007 NEWS below.....
OCTOBER 2007
John Harley Weston spent the first 6 months of 2007 at #1 on ther ILR Australian Indie Radio Charts......and it's still difficult getting commercial radio play.....what gives? I remember one Music Director from a big radio station said to me 'keep raising your profile and making waves and we'll HAVE to play you eventually'. Well mate, I've sent a few tidal waves your way over the last couple of years. Winning national competitions, being at #1 for 6 months on the indie charts and check out these brilliant quotes from industry big hitters like Powderfinger's manager Paul Piticco and Australian Idol judge Mark Holden - click here.
John's hard at it in his studio finishing off his album. What do you reckon John? This month, next month, January.......'Leave me alone' he says, 'I'm concentrating'. Rest assured it's not far off.
We've already got loads of pre-orders for the new album. It doesn't cost you anything to pre-order but you'll be first to know when it's ready. Just email us at info@johnharleyweston.com
